We live on the Comox Peninsula, on beautiful Vancouver Island. We own a small seven acre hobby farm that we bought in the spring of 2007. We spent the best part of a year trying to tidy up a tiny fraction of the outside while completely gutting the inside. In May 2008, we moved into our 1000 sq ft rancher and started to figure out what we’d got ourselves into! The house is tiny but cosy – all that we need and more. We’ve got big plans for the property but as the saying goes “a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.” Click here to see the bird’s eye view of our place and surrounds.
The property is located in the sun belt, a short distance from Comox Airport. It has about one acre that is a pond and forest, a few acres in open pasture and about an acre and a half in woodland. It backs on to Glacier Greens Golf Course – the back of the property almost backs onto the 5th green!
