Kwai Lake

We wanted to give Daisy a little trial run on some hiking before taking her on a longer trip.  After all, she has to carry her own food and she is still just a large puppy.  So, we decided to do a little jaunt to Circlet Lake, in the backcountry about 11 km into the mountains behind Paradise Meadows.  About 3/4 of the way to Circlet, we decided to change plans a little and camp at Kwai Lake, a tiny little gem with a great view of the Glacier to the South and Albert-Edward to the West.  It was getting a little hot and Daisy was dragging a bit so we cut the hike a little short.  We had a nice relaxing afternoon and then hiked out at 7AM, arriving home around 10:30am!  Click here for more!
