We live on the Comox Peninsula, on beautiful Vancouver Island. We own a small seven acre hobby farm that we bought in the spring of 2007. We spent the best part of a year trying to tidy up a tiny fraction of the outside while completely gutting the inside. In May 2008, we moved in and started to figure out what we’d got ourselves into! We’ve got big plans for the property but as the saying goes “a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.” It has about one acre that is a pond and forest, a few acres in open pasture and about an acre and a half in woodland.
In 2017, we finished building a new house at the north side of the farm and moved in. Josée’s Mum moved out from Quebec and lives in the house we originally renovated.
