In case you haven’t seen this video, watch the magic of the Christmas spirit presented by Westjet. It’s a totally ‘feel good view’. Merry Christmas!

Another year has flown by – where does it go? We had a year full of challenges and heartbreak but also with some wonderful memories and events. Please click here for more. From our family to yours, please have a safe and enjoyable Christmas season, happy holidays and a great 2013.
I won’t bore you with the details but this past week was a busy one. In addition to our regular activities, I hosted my Christmas open house on Thursday which was a great success. We took the dogs for a hike up the mountain, we spent half an hour waiting for the Christmas lights truck parade (which although small is growing in numbers each year) and Dad and I attended TEDx at North Island College.
The TEDx was a great event, as always. We enjoyed listening to tales from Ruth Masters, a presentation of great piano from Sarah Hagen, a discussion on the treatment of patients involved in Phase I clinical trials and a talk on the limitless possibilities of our physical bodies! I’m looking forward to the next TEDx – it’s always an opportunity to learn about some amazing people. One of the more interesting TEDx talks presented via video was from TEDx-Toronto and discussed the topic of apathy – you can view it below – enjoy!

Another year nearly done and dusted. It’s been a good one for us out here on Knight Road but busy – very busy. I want to say that we’re going to tone it down a little in 2012 but it’s probably not true. I’ll have to examine that in my 2012 goals – details to come!
Anyway, please click here to read our Christmas letter and we hope to see you over the holidays. Josée and I are staying home so if you’d like to come over for a visit, please do! Have a very happy and safe Christmas season and a prosperous 2012.
I always send a Christmas letter to all my clients and had a few suggest I post it on here as well just in case my overseas friends didn’t get it! So…here it is: Christmas 2010
Thanks, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our friends and family!
Well, we’re not Spinal Tap but we’re close. Josée and I have been working on our mad musical skills and we’ve put together a little Christmas medley. The drummer vaguely reminds me of Animal from the Muppets. Check it out by clicking here.

‘Tis the season! Our annual Christmas open house is fast approaching! We missed it last year as we were away in sunnier climes but we are back on track this year. Everyone is busy before Christmas so we decided to host the open house during the week between Christmas and New Years.
Please click here to download the details. We would appreciate the courtesy of an RSVP if you plan to join us for some fun and refreshments.
We’re in sunny Puerto Vallarta – great flight down, nice house, beautiful weather and a nice relaxing time. Haven’t been doing much of anything which is just fine. The beach is 50 metres from the house and we can walk a long way in both directions. We don’t have much planned for the next couple weeks but who knows – maybe we’ll do some whale watching or visit an archaeological site! It has been great getting to spend time with our family but we wish that everything (including our pets!) was here.
We’re out of luck with watching hockey on TV but we did manage to find a house just down the alley toward the beach which has wireless TV. We picked up the signal on Mum’s laptop so at 9:30 PV time (7:30 Comox time) we march down the alley with our plastic chairs and bottles of Pacifico in hand to watch the games. Right now we’re watching the Canucks ahead of Nashville in the 2nd intermission.
Watching hockey in the alley
All the best to you and yours and have a wonderful Christmas season!
